Week 1 LOL thread

But still, frustrated? Seems like an odd choice. Honestly Florida is the only team on that list that makes any sense.
South Carolina is the ultimate Murphy's Law program.

They can win some games they have no business winning and then lose to the worst FBS (or FCS) school. They will show flashes of being competent and then go right back to mediocre. That they have not been the absolute worst school in the country makes it even worse, not better, because our fans see the potential every year -- only to dick-step at some point(s) during the season. Sooner or later, we know the shoe is going to drop but every fall we buy into the hype and hope.

Tl,dr but I'm guessing the gist is "football is dead to me"?

If it was like 6-7 years ago, I'd get it, but SC has hit 9 wins once in the last decade. They had a very tiny window of 11-win seasons for 3 years but that's pretty much the entire history since 1984. I'd put teams like Miami, Auburn, Florida, Texas, USC, and quite a few others on the list, at least in terms of if they should realistically be frustrated. I guess delusional frustration is a different animal.

Also, OSU has no business on that list.

^^^^This mufuka gots the same Sharpie black hair
Nope. Salt and pepper and getting more salt-like every day. My friends who are all snow white are very jealous, however.
