Week 10 lols

Do you take a 1 lose PSU team over a 1 lose IU team?
Damn, that's a good question. I'm guessing you are asking under the assumption that the only loss for both is Ohio State and the CFP won't take four teams from the B1G. If not I apologize for assuming such. Committee may have to go deep in their criteria to decide. Looking at the schedule alone doesn't really help to separate them much IMHO. I know the committee has a lot more data at their fingertips like SOS, SOR,, MOV, etc. Not that many common opponents thanks to conferences that are too damn big. UCLA, Maryland, Washington, Ohio State and Purdue. are it.

In conference schedules look similar. OOC I give to Penn State. They didn't play an FCS but Kent State may be worse than FCS. Penn State also played another P4 (or M2) team in West Virginia. Besides playing these last four weeks for a CFP birth, seeding, home field first round etc, here's another thing the new 12 team format has brought into play as much or more than previous. Penn State may benefit from having played lowly USC because of them beating LSU and IF they beat Notre Dame. Despite their crappy conference record, that may tilt the edge to Penn State.

Penn State got Ohio State at home while Indiana has to go to the shoe. Indiana also played the Michigans which may influence but shouldn't. Penn State beat a fairly decent looking Minnesota so that is in their favor.

The deciding factor may come down to how well their opponents finish. Ain't this new format great!

Lol they are taking Penn State 100% of the time. People acting like biases don’t exist in the comittee and they don’t take possible ratings into account is funny.

An Auburn coach texted Bryan Longwell AT 5:59 AM ON CHRISTMAS MORNING to tell him that Auburn didn’t want him.

The kid kept the receipt, signed with Vandy, and two years later…

Odds of big12, acc getting multiple teams in dropped significantly.
Things could turn out where they shouldn't even get one. But that ain't the way it is set up.

The Big 12 doesn't have many (if any) good OOC victories. BYU over SMU may end up being the only one. Maybe Iowa State over Iowa and Oklahoma State over Arkie if those teams actually finish decent...which I doubt. AZ State over Miss State....whoopteedoo!

Yep. Name on the jersey matters.

lol at all of the old Pac 12 schools outside of Oregon. Whored yourselves out for money to become bottom feeders.

Yes they did. But they are rich bottom feeders. Stanford and Cal did the same. But they are much, much less rich than the others. Same can be said for Utah, Colo, Az and Az State.
