Week 10 Playoff Projections

Eh screw the metrics I’ve watched them play and they are as mediocre as it gets.

They were bad against Miami, but outside of that one singular game have performed pretty well.

I’m not a fan of metric systems that basically totally ignore losses I mean Massey has MICHIGAN in the top 25 lol and we are supposed to take that seriously? Iowa is a top 20 team is Sagarin too. Joke.

Come on codaxx. No doubt Florida’s schedule is difficult. They should get credit for playing it…especially their OOC.. even if FSU sucks this year. But there is a hell of a lot of difference in just playing a good schedule and actually having some success in doing so. Hell Miss St has played a good schedule too so that old dog don’t hunt.

And Florida lost to frickin’ UCF.
The bar was people saying Florida is mediocre. Ay no point down say they were good.

Dude, again. We literally just went through this for over a decade in the BIG and the west constantly shit the bed and skated by. This was the exact format the BIG used except it was 14 teams.
You sure a lot more teams. The fault was in putting all the blue bloods in a single division, not the structure

Sagarin has auburn #32 we should definitely take these ranking seriously!

Massey also has Oklahoma in the top 25 good grief

Michigan is also 55th in overall efficiency, 44th in SoR and 45th in Game Control. You shouldn't take one single metric point and have that be the sole argument. Michigan is probably a top 40/45 team factoring everything in.

I mean it's easy to say a team is a fringe top 50 team, but if you tried to rank 49 teams before getting to Florida, my guess is it would pretty bad.

A fine example of why preseason rankings need to go away. Now more than ever with the transfer portal NIL and everything each season is even more different than the previous.

Cfp rankings don't care about your preseason ranking

Take Georgia. They could have 2 losses in the SEC and be the best team. They are playing everyone.
Yup. Georgia had a monster road schedule.

Georgia will be in the playoffs. Everyone can relax. Unless somehow they lose 4 games.

Yeah. They have lost to every good team they have faced (A&M and Miami were bad) but they have beaten everyone else. They would be 6-2 with Ohio States schedule most likely and ranked

They were probably more interesting with Lagway at QB. Probably still top 50, but their upside has been capped with his injury. (I probably jinxed Texas with that)

I was mostly talking about to this point in the season. I think they have to throw that walk on in at QB now, so that will definitely hurt their chances.
