Week 10 Playoff Projections

As soon as South Carolina started beating A&M they kept constantly saying how we “can’t judge A&M based on this game” there’s a comical SEC bias there.

GameDay went to Washington vs. IU. That would be like Big Noon going to an A&M vs. Arkansas game this year.

Also, that's not even that bad IMO. That game was an outlier in their season. It still counts as a loss. If you're trying to project forward, based on their body of work, from a handicapping perspective, they still rate pretty strongly. Kinda like the NIU/ND game. That game will hurt ND's seeding for the CFP, but based on the rest of the body of their work to judge them on that game solely would be a mistake. It still could cost A&M a CFP berth.

We should absolutely judge A&M based on them getting destroyed by a unranked team. They should be at the back of the line of the potential 2 loss team line because of it

And now they are behind Bama and LSU, which is interesting considering they beat them. So they are being penalized for the loss, but from a handicapping perspective, they still have only played that one bad game.

My bad they should be ahead of LSU because they beat LSU head to head and LSUs loss to USC is worse.

I expect A&M to be ahead in the committee rankings.

They should be. In the end I don’t think them or LSU are that good and the same for Tennessee. Tennessee is really benefiting from the unbalanced scheduling these mega conferences bring.

I don't think anyone is elite in terms of super great teams when comparing past teams. Oregon, UGA and OSU are the best 3 IMO. 4 through about 16 or so are all about the same.

This year is like 2007 I fully expect more fuckery and chaos in the next couple of weeks

I think they are a lot of teams in the mix this year. Oregon has the most consistent QB. I would list Miami and Ward, but I don’t think they have the defense. None of the rest have QBs that I would trust for 3 games. This year may come down to a QB getting hot

Miami should already have at least 1 loss the ACC refs have been at their side.
