Iowa State defense + Tennessee Offense would be Undefeated, Ranked #01 and scaring the shit out of every single football team in the country! Too bad we don't have Johnny Majors to figure that combo out!LOL @ our basement level FCS team "defense"
I mean. I wouldn’t expect most teams would do well with their top 2 starters out at a position like RB. Now days those kids transfer. Think of it this way, it should have been charbonnet. But he was too good to ride the bench. The issue with modern football is that depth charts get pretty weak behind the starters.we’re lucky to have Edwards. Unlucky that both got injured.LOL @ how bad the 3rd and 4th string running backs are on Michigan. If Corum and Edwards are out next week. Michigan is in TROUBLE.
Ohio State is in pretty much the same position with the #3 guy out and the top 2 hobbled and in walking boots. They are left with a true freshman (who looks pretty good, btw), a guy who has bounced from WR to RB to WR back to RB in 5 years with the program and a walk on who has just a handful of carries. Not only that, but they lost the only RB in the 2023 class this week to Florida.I mean. I wouldn’t expect most teams would do well with their top 2 starters out at a position like RB. I expect the top 2 to play next week, but Henderson obviously isn't himself and although they haven't announced it, Williams probably has a high ankle sprain so no idea how effective he can be. Hayden has filled in admirably and should have started the game this week. Henderson should have stayed on the sideline.
Yeah. Against the 70th ranked run defense. Not the 7th.3rd string ran for 147 yards and 3 TDs. In the second half. Tried to force a bot fully healthy Trevyon Henderson out there and it didn't go well
