Week 14 LOLs

Michigan has not been forced to punt against Ohio State in The Game in the fourth quarter since 2019.

The post I was responding to said the SEC had a tough couple of weeks. I was pointing out that the SEC had a great past weekend, while the B1G's last couple of weeks was pretty bad. From 2 of your 4 in the top 5 lost. That's the point I was making. Both conferences had a tough couple of weeks, the SEC was all 2 weeks ago, the B1G spread their's over 2 weeks. Should Bama not get in, something that we can all hope for, then the SEC's two weeks would have been worse, obviously.

I mean, IU lost to Ohio State. I'm not sure that qualifies as a bad loss.

Last thing on this ... it's not the loss itself. I agree, losing to tOSU is a fair loss. He was talking the "SEC having a bad 2 weeks." I was pointing out to a member of the B1G that theirs wasn't exactly stellar from a conference perspective.

Not if they play us, LOL. Seriously, they are Jeckel and Hyde, but there are a lot of teams that wouldn't want to play them. Wouldn't a fan's normal response be that they want their team in? You make it sound like that is odd.

That's pretty insane. Michigan scored on all of their drives in the 2nd half of 2021 (minus the kneel down drive), punted once in the 3rd quarter of 2022 (did miss a FG in the 4th), and scored on all 4 drives in 2023. Even in this dumpster fire of the 2024 game, they only punted once in the 2nd half... the caveat being two drives ending in interceptions. The wild part for me is that OSU didn't even get a single 1st down in the final three drives.
