I was just talking to my brother about that. Losing all of those defensive players is already taking its toll - having given up 31 and 48 in consecutive weeks. The Lions could still win games despite all those injuries because they've had a strong, balanced offense and can outscore teams despite defensive deficiencies. Taking away Montgomery now too is taking away a huge chunk of that offensive balance. This Lions machine is in serious danger of breaking down.
