LOL at FSU being down 7-0 to Jacksonville St when they had the ball first.
 
Is this week 4 or week 5?

VT again missing 20+ players due to Covid and contact tracing, including our starting QB for the last two weeks, top 4 corners, safety, and DB coaches. One of those coaches was the acting D coordinator last week versus NCST, and our DC is still out this week.

Who is calling plays this week and do we even know the names of the replacements never to have a snap before?

Considering we're currently up 10-7 before half, with Duke's TD coming off a muffed punt, I'm "okay" right now. Makes me optimistic on how we'll perform at full strength, but then again, we could easily blow this game and spiral. With Covid still kicking our ass, who knows.

Seriously we really dont know who is calling defensive plays. Funny how our 4th string defensive play caller is running circles against our primary offensive one.
 
FSU figured out they were playing an FCS team, and they're down by only seven at the half now.

It's not funny and that is the problem.

Dont know if that's because Foster has retired and the game had possibly passed him by, to where now the defense is looking better, even with depleted personnel. Or just that the offense under Fuente won't live up to the "promise" at his hiring. There's been some bright spots, and granted, a little better than some previous offenses from the last 15 years, but there just isn't any consistency. Well it's consistently inconsistent, so there's that.

A great big LOL at the Big 12 referees. As bad as some of the teams looked, the refs have been real bad in the WVU/Baylor, TCU/Texas and Texas Tech/K-State games. Didn't see OSU/Kansas so maybe there was some saving grace.

Without PAC 12 refs to steal the show, I was wondering which conference's refs were going to get exposed.
