He hasn't completed a pass in two games that traveled more than 9 yards. There is no such thing as "heating up". Minnesota continued to put 2 safeties 12-15 yards deep for some unknown reason, when we were running it up the middle over and over.
All you have to do to beat Michigan is use Ohio's defensive strategy from a few years ago. Have the linebackers shoot the gaps and the safeties fill in behind them
USC and Minnesota both went full retard when it came to defensive formations when it was clear Michigan is not throwing deep. That definitely helped you secure both games.
Minnesota over committing to one side for some reason got them burnt on that 27 yard TD, I coulda reached the end zone with all the open space was there.
