NFL WEEKLY GAME THREAD Week 5

Tied at 30. Going to OT

Great night for Drake London. 10 catches for 130 yards and a TD. Gotten me 30 points for my fantasy team
 
I still can’t believe the Falcons managed to win a game like that. That interception on 4th down should have sealed the deal and just been another typical Falcons coming up just short loss.
 
But also, 5 weeks in and Falcons already having 3 prime time games is a bit ridiculous. I like watching em Sundays at 1.

What’s your take on why they aren’t using Robinson more? They burned a top ten pick way too early on him and now act like they’re afraid to use him.

New coaching staff that wasn’t involved in the pick. Robinson is a great talent, but it was a stupid pick, the Falcons d-line getting pushed around is proof of that.

And also, we have a QB that can complete a forward pass, so less reliance non RB’s in the pass game.

And prior to last night, Allgeier was outperforming Robinson

But I do agree that a player of Robinson’s talent needs more touches

TBH I thought it was. Just over 2 minutes and you gave the ball back, that's church. Nope. a minute later you have the ball back, TPA is in some sort of weak prevent, a seam is found and then endzone. Crazy game, good game. Too bad it was on Prime for most of America and not as many could see it.

Robinson hasn't done or said anything that would hurt his value, so ATL could still ship him out for a very nice haul. Looks like the workhorse RB1 is coming back into focus in the NFL so we could see a premium paid for one.

Just don't call Jerry.

I’m a running backs are easily replaceable kind of guy, so I’d be all for it. I think he’s a good player and a good guy, but we have far more pressing needs than running back
