Week 8 AP Poll

I'm going to "disclaimer" this post by saying that I'm a die hard PSU fan, always have been, always will be. But...

PSU at #3 feels too high, and I think PSU might be one of the weaker #3's in recent history. I understand why the pollsters put them there. I understand they've won their games, and had some tough ones (USC on the road being one). But I've watched the games, and PSU just doesn't feel strong to me, and they certainly don't look strong in how they're winning games.

Obviously, tOSU is the measuring stick, and that's often the case. My concern is that, even despite tOSU not being (in my opinion) as strong as historical OSU teams, I don't see what I need to see form PSU to suggest they'll win that game. Wisc after a BYE should be an easy W, which will make the PSU/OSU matchup all the more sweeter for TV ratings. But, i'm just not seeing it.

Hope I'm wrong.
 
For all the complaining of certain teams ranked too high, so far at this point in the season, it's pretty much which teams has looked the least shitty. Who else you got? Why isn't Indiana and Iowa St. top 10?
The CFBC's rankings will be out soon enuf, we'll see then. In the meantime, let the bitching continue.

BTW, IMO LSU ain't no top 10 team. Other than Iowa St. and Indy, who you got? A lot of one loss teams out there. Which ones looks the least shitty? :noidea:

Indiana and Iowa St are top 10 in my rankings, to me they have the same issue as Liberty in that they haven't played anyone with a pulse.
