I don't see that happening as I'd be an outsider. When they bought out the bank I worked at, I didn't stick around as I knew they were letting our whole department go. Sounds like they screwed up big time in letting our department go from the customers. This is just fill a spot some quit it seems.

I don't want to speak for Rob, but it seems pretty self explanatory, so I'll take a shot.

He meant it was really nice of Chicken to agree to drive his dad to see his uncle and that most people on tHoop wouldn't drive their dads, but rather offer to pay for half of the Uber ride, which is less nice.

See I read it as "wow you're a great son. Most of these assholes wouldn't do shit for their dad"

I just want to know what makes him think that.

I'm just interested in knowing how he can be so sure as to say "most of the posters here"

I don't know shit about how anyone elses relationship with their fathers is on this site (besides Fish...he complained about his dad a lot).

Saying "you're better than most on this site" is just a weird thing to claim to me

ill let me just say this. Under no circumstances was I trying to fish for compliments no trying to slight anyone. I think the regulars on this board all have a good relationship and feel comfortable sharing some aspects of their personal life such as health concerns, family and career issues et al. I was just sharing that I was having bittersweet feelings because I am excited to spend some time with two of my favorite people but also acknowledging that it may be the last time.
