Weekend Recovery Monday

What percentage of the time do you think you have a solid understanding of the things going on around you?
well when it comes to understanding Rob's logic...that takes a while...esp when he is unwilling to actually answer a simple question.

but when things are actually addressed then it doesn't take long. I am a quick learner.

I guess I should know by now that Rob isn't going to actually defend himself or what he says on here

You're way off on this one, I can tell you that. Maybe not as far off as your percentage gaffe, but still, far off.

Most posters on this board would understand this.

and do you think most of the posters here wouldn't do what Chickie did for his dad?

Have Friday off and Monday of course. I have agreed to drive my father and his friend to see his brother this weekend who lives about 5 hours away. Dad is 82 and his brother just turned 80 last month. Have a feeling this might be the last time with them together. My uncle is one of my favorite people in the world and next to my dad a person that I always looked up to as a kid so this is kind of bittersweet.

Hard question. Since I don't believe in the concept of altruism, I might do it for me if I was in the same position.

However, it is a moot question. I am not Chicken.

I might boo Rob's statement but I don't question it.

I question it...because I think most people here would do what Chickie did.

Do you know for a fact that most people here have a living father?
are we moving the goalposts now?

Rob's statement was "most would just pay for half the uber ride" as opposed to doing what Chickie did.

I am not paying for an Uber ride for my dead father...however I guess that is what a hearse is...fucking hilarious

The problem with general statements is that they are subject to exceptions.

And, yes, your last paragraph is hilarious. I like dark humor. Also subject to misinterpretation.

So ill will pay to have chores done that real men do, but he’s flabbergasted that someone would pay for an Uber to take dad to see his brother?

someone please explain this derp logic

Just talked to my dad about his FF team (our draft was last night).

We’re in the same division this year, so that will be fun.
