welcome back Big 10

OSU played 12 (if I'm not mistaken) straight in 2002
Holy shit you are right.. they had a bye week after the first game of the season then went the rest without a bye week.. How the hell does that happen with only 11 schools?? Was there less weeks that year??!

Yes please show me 8 straight games, in this century, that schools played 8 consecutive saturdays without any bye week in between. Look I'm not shitting on the BIG playing, I just find it odd that everyone says health is paramount, yet these assholes decide to postpone the season long enough to have 8 straight weeks of games with no margin for error.. COVID shit aside, playing that schedule is tough, especially for the outside shot of getting into the CFP as well.

But hey, if keyboard warriors and pencil pushers in the admin say, they can take it, they can take it.

I started from gobucks in 2002 and have already found three times OSU did it and I only made it to 2008. The fewest in a row in a year was 7. One year they had no bye.

We played 13 regular season games that year (that's why I looked it up... Figured there had to be an 8 game stretch)

So were schedules all before realignment, tosu I'm talking about.. Nebraska.. I can see why they struggled so much and kids hit the portal with that schedule.

They went to the national championship lol. I mean they had to wait like 3 years and troy smith gained 47 pounds but eventually they played a title.

thats not indirect. that still doesnt mean i didnt want football to play. At that time testing wasnt what it is now. they were still working on rapid tests. I never didnt want football to play. i just always wanted it to play as long as it was safe.
Such a bullshit cop out. You tried to say other conferences didn’t care about players lives. Spare your bullshit excuse “I still wanted them to play if it was safe.” You basically condemned other conferences for playing and now you are trying to backtrack.

Haha.... The White House welcomed back B1G football to Mississippi

testing capabilities are better now than they were then. like i said wanting safety for the players, coaches, staff and family shouldnt be a bad thing and doesnt mean i didnt want college football to played at all.

Every nonrevenue sport remains cancelled until football makes enough money to reinstate their budgets, right?

Texas women's soccer is being played right now (Big 12 soccer). But this was absolutely about money too.. Presidents didn't listen to the actual President.. they actually realized how huge the impact of getting ZERO money from football and donations on the school itself. Especially since the academic side really isn't bringing money due to the pandemic impacting on campus living.

You said people that are playing don’t care about people’s lives. Stop shifting gears here. We all can see what you meant. Nice try

They'll never play a single game with this 5% rule in place.

But go ahead and get excited.

"Cancel all fall sports. Run a limited number of sports in the spring with a mixture of fall and spring sports."-obxyankeefan
"Here come the people who are going to pretend that every other conference isnt going to do the exact same thing, probably fairly quickly too" -OSUBuckeye89
"postponing it to the spring is dumb, just go ahead and cancel the season out right" Thiefery"

oh i found 1 i said

"i just dont see the whole season being played even if they do move forward.
the most SEC is in the most hit states for covid collectively.
Texas is the 3rd most and near half the Big XII is there."
looks like i was totally cheering for no football at all.
This is what i was talking about

Charlotte has O-line shortage, cancels UNC game

FAU hopes to play after 11 test positive for virus

Arkansas State postpones Saturday's game

Harbaugh is the master of winning 9 games, so I expect an undefeated season

Well here’s you saying indirectly other conferences dont care about people’s lives Because they’ll play. But sure, that means you were rooting for football to play.....

This is what you said. This doesnt make any sort of sense that this is a post cheering for football. But continue this charade.
