Not with a full ass cartAbsolutely nothing wrong with self checkout. One of the better inventions in the 21st century.
The fact costco even has self checkout is pretty stupid. Costco lines go fast enough as it is, the self checkouts are by far the slowest option. Even a cart's worth of shit at costco is like 20 items, it takes 45 seconds for them to scan and they don't bag anything for you, just tossing it back in your cart, the whole process for a high functioning person who has a credit card takes 2 minutes.anyone else go to self checkout at Costco and they come and just scan the shit for you anyway?

Ain’t American = commieDepends on what you are shopping for. There produce is actually pretty good. Their meats suck. I've learned which cereals taste close or the same. Just have to figure it out and save a bunch of money.
Also, isn't Aldi German? What am I missing with the Russian joke?
I’ve only been to Aldi once or twice, but it kinda has a Dollar General vibe to me.Depends on what you are shopping for. There produce is actually pretty good. Their meats suck. I've learned which cereals taste close or the same. Just have to figure it out and save a bunch of money.

Only sissies care about “gluten free”Aldi is cool. They have a good selection of gluten free shit.
They also get random one-off high quality stuff that they sell for like half price.
The bagging yourself thing and quarter carts is pretty annoying. Bunch of euro policy shit.

That’s one of the worst things about modern medicine. In the old days, people who were allergic to food just died. That’s what nature intended. Now we’re letting those recessive genes run rampant in the gene pool.Only sissies care about “gluten free”
Telling me you are rich without saying you are rich.full ass cart
You don't need to be rich to have a full ass cart, just ask the thousands of San Franciscans who fill their carts and use the register bypass.Telling me you are rich without saying you are rich.

They probably don’t even sell pickled pigs feet thereSaves me $50-$80 a grocery trip. At that point, I'm not too worried about the vibe. There is stuff I avoid from there. But I can get pretty much everything between there and Sam's club

Not to mention, costco has been crying about membership sharing since they introduced self checkouts.
Introduce a slower checkout option for random people to come in with random cards, that need to be staffed anyway because the system is stupid as fuck.
64D chess costco.
