We still have the conference championships to go. I am just curious what these rankings will look like before that.

Now that LSU and Florida State have the same record, will Florida State be ahead of LSU? LSU has better wins but not the head-to-head.
Will Oregon State be ahead of Oregon? They have the same record also even though Oregon has 1 less conference loss.
Will Tennessee above or behind Alabama?
How far will the Buckeyes fall? If Southern Cal is 4th and they lose to Utah again, is Ohio State back in it?
Will these beaten SEC teams be in the CFP top 25 just to boost other SEC teams in the upper level? As some say.

I think Ole Miss is the only team this really applies to, and no I wont be shocked if they find a way to keep them in the top 25 to make Bama look better. Miss State of course will be joining the top 25 for beating said overrated Ole Miss team.

My guess is they stick tOSU behind Bama at 6th. If TCU or USC lose their CCG, they will stick Bama in there.

SCar should be the top ranked 4 loss team. No other 4 loss team is gonna have wins on par with Tennessee and Clemson

As much SEC!!11!!! bullshit that would be I actually won't be too upset about it this year. I want no business of getting pantsed by UGA in the semi finals.

I'm really still unfamiliar with the season still being relevant into December. Is this how Ohio State got to feel for 20 years?

That’s not what I’m guessing, but I wouldn’t be shocked either

Tennessee would be more deserving than Bama

Defense really got exposed and the secondary was an absolute shambles.

I'm happy to play in a charity bowl and think about other sports for the rest of the season.

Same. I'm expecting at least a fucking full court press push like we've never seen before on behalf of Bama from ESPN and the rest of the talking heads though.

Wouldn't be shocked if they actually get it, actually I somewhat expect it.

I don’t see what argument Bama would have over Tennessee. Same record, TN has the head to head, and SCar really isn’t that much worse of a loss than LSU considering TN blew LSU out in Baton Rouge

I hate the "quality loss" argument, but i have to invoke it here.
Bama's 2 losses: @Tennessee by 3 and @LSU by 1 in OT
Tennessee's 2 losses: @Georgia by 14 (and it honestly wasn't that close), and @SCAR by 25

If you consider head-to-head in a bubble, then i guess i could see it. But to me, Bama's looks better. For the same reason, i fully expect them to put Bama with their 2 losses above tOSU and their 1 loss.

Tennessee is already well below Bama in the polls. And they arent putting a team with their backup QB, Joe fucking Milton in the playoffs with 2 losses.

It's BAMA that's the problem here. Tennessee is not going to get that benefit of the doubt that Bama does, even though they won the head to head game.

MAYBE if Tennessee only lost by like 7 to South Carolina and Hooker wasn't out for the year, but definitely not after the results that transpired.

Scores aside, SCar is 8-4 and also beat Clemson at Clemson, are they really that much worse than LSU?

Tennessee also blew LSU out in Baton Rouge

The SEC teams are weird, LSU, Tennessee, South Carolina could probably all beat each other on the right day. They are probably all "good" teams but I wouldn't call either of them GREAT teams. (Bama is not a GREAT team this year either IMO)

Georgia is the only Great team of the bunch this year.

Bama might not be a great team, but I’d rather not have to face em since they tend to take advantage when they are gifted a spot

UTjr is out with Hooker being injured. They are allowed to consider that and they would.

Probably why Bama gets the Sugar Bowl over UTjr.

Oh I agree, that would be my main beef with them somehow pushing them in this year. They are liable to win the fucking thing because Saban ALWAYS has his guys at their best when they get these sorts of opportunities handed to them.

I'm with you ... I have no idea how to act in this rarified air. Bama is used to it, I am not.

Yea the moment Hooker went out Tennessee was eliminated from the conversation, even if they happened to end up winning that South Carolina game somehow.
