Wentz-ington Commanders

No doubt that Wentz is a significant improvement over the Qbs they had. Even if it only results in a 2 or 3 game improvement, that puts the Commies right in the playoff race.

The Washington running game is ok. It isn't as good as Indy's, but the Commie pass blocking rated out higher than the Colts'. So, it might balance out. He'll have Tmac to throw to and McKissic is a good pass-catching RB, Thomas is underrated at TE (though an upgrade is necessary).

The Washington FO was desperate for an upgrade at QB. They got one and didn't pay all that much for him in terms of draft picks.
Agreed …but the fact remains I hate Gingers and Wentz is a brittle bitch

And if Wentz had the Skins receivers, OL, and defense he would have been 15tds to 20 INT's and went 6-11.
Colts oline was terrible this year. McLaurin is better than anything the Colts have.

Wentz has a revenge tour next season.

2 games vs the Eagles, at Colts and at the Jags where Pederson is the HC.

Heinicke is a high end backup.

Wentz is a middle of road starter.
inb4 “How long do the Commanders stick with Carson Wentz before going to Colt Brennan?”

What- too soon?

At WR…maybe. Pittman had more catches and yards.

But Taylor is better than anything the Skins have… Wentz sucks shit with the leagues leading rusher and a pretty decent Pittman.

That’s actually a damn good comp at this point. All he needs yet if the Falcons and Raiders and he will be Jeff George.

i dare say it’s “phenomenal” comp when you consider that the colts also rid themselves of that ridiculous contract.

Commanders, Generals, it's all the same.

Lovable losers.

Anyone comparing Carson Wentz to Jeff George is showing the world that they don't know shit about football. Wentz is mediocre no doubt, but JFC people, get a clue.

Taylor seemed to do well behind him. I know that doesn't always translate to be good at pass protection, but I also remember Mr. Hero Ball making the eagles o-line look bad by holding onto the ball too long.

I know they had a ton of injuries. It was reminiscent of his time with the eagles having a different starting line so often. I only saw a few of their games. I saw the jaguars game to end the season and you'd think the jaguars were an all world defensive line that game. I doubt it was that way all season.
