I planned on making this trip for some time. After a landslide on the park road in Denali NP in 2020 blocked the way to Wonder Lake for great photographic shots of the mountain, it looked like I might wait till 2025 but I knew there must be other great views of Denali and that worked out. I'll make the trip again in a few years and I may do it in a P/U truck camper.

Thousands drive their RVs or haul their trailers to Alaska in the summer. The major road is somewhat poor in the Yukon and southern Alaska because of constant repairs. Lots of gravel areas and minor delays but all doable. Variety of conditions.
