Rain in the winter is for assholes.apparently this rain is supposed to turn to snow in an hour...
Schools closing because of rain?Won't snow here, but looks like schools are closing tomorrow because of rain and cold temps. People starting to panic again. Sweet
Its supposed to get close to freezing. Chance of flurries. No one wants to be held liable for anything, (which with the way we sue everything these days, I can't blame them) so they just close down or go virtual. Think they even had a delayed start earlier this year because there were like 20-30 mph winds.Schools closing because of rain?![]()

Agreed. We keep missing snow. Got mostly rain, and it's snowing now but too warm to stick.Rain in the winter is for assholes.
That's the big thing. And we just don't have the supplies or equipment for when snow or wintry mix happens. But it definitely seems to be getting a little more ridiculous lately with what constitutes closing down schools and businesses. But I guess with COVID, virtual learning has become a thing and made the decision easier to make.ppfffft
pansies

We (probably) gas the Flu-A through here last month. Step mom says she tested negative on the Vid and positive for Flu A, so it was probably that. But the missus also caught it, and her symptoms were exactly like when she had the Vid last year, just much shorter and less extreme. Not the Vid, but Influenza A is hitting the area. Heard yesterday that the GI bug is just west of us and spreading this way too. That one usually gets me.
We got two feet Sunday night, and it's dumping pretty good right now. Temperatures aren't supposed to get over freezing until February, so I'm pretty pumped right now.Agreed. We keep missing snow. Got mostly rain, and it's snowing now but too warm to stick.

pnk needs to get back to minnesota. the traffic is going to potatoes without him there.
Just want to sell it. The town it in has high water bills and 1% income tax. The house is older though we did major renovation to it. It's been in my mom's family for years and will continue to be. I'm sure if something happens to the buyer in the future, I may purchase it again as a true rental if I want to.Good luck with the sale. Would you rather rent it out and get a continuous stream of income or you just really want to sell?
Yeah, I was a bit worried that he might not have enough rooms in the current house to stash his brood, but apparently Moneybags is doing OK.Well when you have 10 kids...
