Neighbor volunteered to take Murray for the afternoon, she actually volunteered to take both dogs, but we were worried about her managing both
 
called the insurance guy, he said write a letter identifying the dead tree and have a copy for myself and a copy for him and get it notarized. That way there is a record that we identified the tree as dead and scary before it fell and killed my dog.

when we first moved in there was dead tree in my garden (it was relatively small, maybe 8 feet high)

I got my saw and walked over to cut it down, it took about 10 seconds to realize I could just pull the tree down and drag it on out to curb for pick up

had it fallen, it wouldn't have done any damage, but it was crazy to me it was still standing based on tiny effort it took to pull it down, it was near privacy fence that pprobably shileded it from wind

What y'all got against dead trees? I used to buy one every year. Best bird feeder ever.
