Bought my wife a new Kindle. Bought my son some video games and a new laptop.
My wife is going to buy me a bass guitar kit that I can assemble and finish. I really like doing that kinda shit. I'll post the progress on the DIY board.
We decided to keep it simple this year.
Nice. My cousin and I used to build guitars years ago. This is the last one I built (first with binding) and ended up keeping it. Used a template and router to get it profiled, then a few attempts at getting the two tone finish I wanted.
Still have 3 of my AFX tracks from when I was a kid-they're probably 40-45 years old now. I've set them up over the years when my kids were little. Bet it's been over a dozen years since I broke them out. Waiting for grandkids at this point.I never owned a slot car track as a kid.
