Swar to gawwwd ... I'd pay a great chunk of change to watch these guise, The Melvins & The Pixies play a couple of sets together.

Only 36 views. I guess I'm just the coolest, most nonconformist guy alive

Good stuff.

:beer2:

I miss clubs here in SF like The Stone, Mabuhay Gardens, Purple Onion, I-Beam, Chameleon, & the Lab.
All of them closed years ago. They were punk rock palaces/new wave launching pads.
Been to many a show at each back in the day.

Only a small handful of current clubs still remain true.
Lord knows which of those will even be around post pandemic.

Unfortunately so many venues lately have gotten overly generic and lack character.

That DK video at the Mabuhay is one of my most treasured musical moments.

The "Fab Mab" was one of my fave haunts. I saw the Tubes there...Flipper, the Avengers, Redd Kross, Devo, X, Pearl Harbor & the Explosions, the Jim Carroll Band, the Dickies....to name just a few.

Good times.

*Oddly enough though, I never got to see the DK's or Black Flag here in SF, but did see them in LA while living down there.
