What are you listening to?

RIP D.H. Peligro. :(

What is your favorite of all time?
The one you posted: UFO Strangers In The Night lol. UFO with Michael Schenker the best band ever. Schenker in UFO was mesmerizing on guitar.

This has to be my favorite album of all time

Do you have this? I have numerous "bootleg" Cassettes/CDs of UFO over the years. The two early shows ended up on this set. The show from 77/78 has live takes of stuff not on Strangers. Never knew those existed. The earlier ones I have had on cassette since the early 80's. There is a great live bootleg I have from Frankfurt on CD when they re-united in '95. All soundboard. Schenker went bonkers when he found out it existed. I have another soundboard show from London too from 1998. Probably nearly impossible to find now...but you never know with the internet.

I used to have it on cassette but have since lost that tape. I wish I had the CD but rely on Youtube to listen to the best album ever.

Have you ever seen them in concert?

I did once in the 1990's at a small venue in Seattle and they were awesome....

I love all their songs on that album but the one I most identify with is this one...

I have. I missed out on them live in the 1970's. One of my great regrets is my friend went to see them at Stanford University in the fall of 1978 and I passed on going. Ended up being the last show ever with Schenker until 1995. When they re-united and released Walk On Water and toured I saw them finally with the original lineup at The Edge in Palo Alto (also a small venue). I was right up close. It was amazing!!! Saw them again in 1998 at The Edge when Schenker had the black hair. One of those Edge shows Schenker walked off midstage and few weeks later in Japan smashed his guitar on stage mid show and that was that for UFO touring with Schenker ever again I believe.

I love that song. Love those UFO songs that have the mid tempo changes like this. This is a bit mellow but rips at the end, like Love To Love. I always loved This Kids with that wild tempo change in the middle. What a riff in that song too. Mogg and Schenker were the perfect song writing match, but it was a volatile relationship over the years.
