I never catch movies on first release. As such I can get a lot or a little hype that plays into when I do watch it.

A Tarantino movie that is converse to Pulp is OUATIH. Peoples expectations were sky high. Many were disappointed against that. The feedback wasn’t great. So, that knocked my expectations down. I loved that movie. Funny how it can work both ways.

The ending was worth the entire movie. But up to that point I wasn't loving it or anything

i got it after the first time, i own it on DVD, but it physically made me sick. it really stuck with me, stalker (1979) is much lighter but it's a movie again that stuck with me.

don't make me watch it a third time, i just never got it, but you saying it sucked, but the ending made it worth it... i just can't watch it again.

I'm with you to an extent with Pulp. I liked it but nothing overwhelming

i dug that one, Brad and Leo were nice. I still guess I just missed something in pulp, maybe the wigs annoyed me too much.

It’s long. I had moments of feeling it dragging a bit. But, in many of those I could enjoy stage design and costuming of the period (or the yellow Caddy). Then the amazing end came and made me forget all that.

I’m glad I’m not alone on Pulp. It was great. Just not THAT great. I put it with Kill Bill at a very good level. But I gave Inglorious Basterds, Django and OUATIH over all of them.

I might be weird like that.

The second one was the best one. The first one was good and made better after viewing the second on. The rest were just confusing and boring.

I keep forgetting (maybe purposefully) that he wrote NBK. Imagine if he directed that too? I’ve always put it’s shortcomings on Stone.


True Romance was a really good one. Not in his directing style of course, but it’s a damn good script

Dusk til Dawn was so so to me.
