In the 90's I was already a veteran and at 24 years old a freshman at Alabama. I grew up about an hour from campus, so I had local sources for amateur pharmacology enthusiasts. I had my own money, car, house, pot and could buy alcohol. I never had it so good. BTW if anyone had a daughter on campus back then, my bad.
 
If I was able to transplant my current salary back into the 1950's, I'd be among the top 1% richest people in the US. I'd be interested in giving that a try.

1980's. because let's be honest, has there ever been a better look than pushed up sleeves on a members only jacket? i think not.
 
I do not want to grow up in a time that had cell phones or social media I can tell you that much.

Also the 1950s would be as far back as I would to go before the absence of modern conveniences starts massively affecting my life.

I think ideally I would hit the workforce in the early 80s as that decade created a lot of wealth and opportunity. So being born early 60s sounds about right.
 
I always was bummed that I missed the 60's
 
I’ve already lived through the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and half of this decade. Time is the crucible in which we burn.
