I think The Neon Bible might be his only other book. I'd have to check. He wrote it when he was a teenager and it was published long after his death. And of course, he killed himself at like age 30-something so I'm not sure how much time he had to write other books.

Lud-in-the-Mist was listed by Neil Gaiman as one of his favorite fantasy novels so I've been interested in reading it.

I think I watched a couple episodes but really wasn't into it...hell I might have watched all of season 1 now that I think about it. Just didn't really do it for me.

I should reread the book though. I think it's on my shelf.
 
My daughter and her BF are going to take me out for dinner and a few drinks next week. My somewhat local son and his fiance got me a nice bottle of Bourbon, a spiffy little chipping net and my father gave me a check for 8K. My son and his wife in West Palm told me to get my ass down there and he will treat me to all the free golf at the PGA National Resort that I can handle.............. as well as free lodging and the use of his M340i.

I wish someone had given me whiskey.

It's weird that despite all my hobbies and things I enjoy doing, all I got for them was a dozen refurbed Titleist Pro Vs...

Some tennis balls would be nice, maybe some new flies for fishing...heck even a new bottle of whiskey or a good bomber bottle of beer...or a book I might enjoy reading. How hard is that?

Interesting. I’ll let you know once I read it. I didn’t watch the American Gods TV series. I liked the book but thought it dragged on a bit. It is toward the bottom of my list as far as preferences for Neil Gaiman books. Of those that I’ve read, I’d probably rank them:

Neverwhere
Good Omens
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
The Graveyard Book
American Gods
Norse Mythology
Stardust
 
Broad agreed we wouldn't get each other a lot since we each picked up a piece of cardio equipment for the home gym in the last couple months, so I got her some decent snowboarding gloves and socks...

...she got me a Yeti cooler...
