Thinking about planning a vacation. Never been there, and was just wondering if there are some "must do" things.

Open to ideas, but don't tell me what to do.

This is solely about positive things that maybe available in, or from, the region.

You should go there just to watch toilet water flush in the opposite direction.

I think you're confusing it with Colombia.


That said, my wife went there for a work trip a couple of years ago and loved it. She said it was beautiful and the people really cool.

I've worked with several South Africans and they've all been really cool, and one of my buddies is from there and always posting stuff about it.

We're planning a trip there sometime, I really want to see it and also go watch the Springboks play. Wife brought me back a Springboks Rugby World Cup jersey.
 
Table Mountain is awesome. Golf is great in Capetown. Everything is crazy cheap. I was there seven years ago. I think it maybe has gone to shit though.

I’ve heard it’s not actually the safest place to go. Like if take a taxi from airport, there are a lot of people that are getting robbed doing that.
