What do you think about your team’s chances in 2022?

Hence getting a hard nosed defensive minded coach that has beaten the Alabamas for national titles and knows what it takes to do so.
It is like Oregon thinking they will have a Georgia defense because they hired Lanning. If you can't pull recruits like Georgia or Clemson, you won't have a defense like Georgia or Clemson. It is great to have a hard nosed defensive coach, but you need the elite recruits that make those defenses they led before become elite.

Well hopefully some of these defensive coach's hes brought in will address that. Time will tell.

OU signs a bunch of elite talent on offense -- they don't sign a bunch of elite talent on defense. They sign enough to handle the Big 12, but that isn't enough to handle the other top teams elsewhere.
They have been going life and death with some teams they have no business being able to do that in the Big12. Nevermind everyone else.

2022? I'll say 10-2....same as 2021's record.

If Oklahoma supposedly had all that talent and Muleshoe was such a great coach, why was the OU program obviously trending downward over the past 3 years to the point where 2021 flat out sucked? I'd like an outsider's non-troll explanation for that.

If Caleb Williams stays. I can see 10-2 for OU next year. With the talent on the offensive side of the ball that's left and the losses on the defensive side of the ball. 10 wins would be if the stars aligned and every bounce went your way.

With a new staff and so many guys leaving -- OU will have players who don't fit the new schemes and they will have guys playing who wouldn't otherwise see the field.
I'd guess 8 wins is more likely for OU next year unless the conference as a whole is down.

Mizzou is still probably a year away from being a player in the SEC East.

It's an even number year so we'll be seeing Northwestern in the B1G Title Game again.

Pitt SHOULD be a ACC contender again with returning a lot of talent and bringing in Slovis.
I see those Droider clone workouts are having an effect on you

that is not what Oregon fans think
Oregon finished with the 72nd ranked defense
what Oregon fans think and hope for is an improved defense.

yeah in the order they will finish next season
I'm sorry. You didn't sense the sarcasm there.

It isn't possible to rank teams with new staffing and large unknowns about who will be playing for them.

Basing a list of history when none of the people involved with it are still there is pointless and stupid.

Oregon is probably good enough to take the North again but they'll need a better passing game to be nationally relevant.

it is possible i just did it

For UGA, I think we’ll be a top 5ish team. A natty isn’t out of the question, but less likely than it was before the 2021 season.

The offense should be better, and the defense should still be good, just not as good as it was in 2021.

Gonna lose a lot to the draft and there’s gonna be some transfers, but it’s gonna be a good, but young roster
Michigan has an easier schedule + some offensive firepower returning. So I feel pretty good about next year. Good shot to go into the OSU game undefeated.

A good shot coming out of the ohio state game undefeated.

For UT (at least mine) …prob 7-8 wins again will be expectation as the player shuffle / process continues with a HOPE that the offense catches fire and maybe another win or two that shouldn’t happen, does happen.

Looks like JT is going to the portal

Daniels to enter portal

Now Bennet only has to fight off the Freshman

Daniels and Beck were always as good as gone.

I really hope Bennett decides to end his playing days on top.

We're still in the hunt for Caleb Williams, and if he doesn't come, it's time to start the Vandagriff/Stockton era.
