I've heard the SEC always wanted VA or VA Tech.. only reason it took Mizzu was because they were the only one out there begging after the BIG ghosted them for Nebraska.. and they needed to bring a partner for aggy. It was such a "guess this is as good we can do in the next 5 min" selection, they made them play in the East Division.

SEC needed another team with a Tiger mascot. When there is enough, the SEC will realign to create a Tiger division.
