Yea I know I know but lettuce take a fair and honest look at this schedule:

Northwestern - L

North Dakota - that’s a W imo

Georgia Southern - another dub

Oklahoma - ok, huge challenge BUT, what does OU really have now and they played em close last year, may well be a W here too.

Indiana - Win

Rutgers - win

Thoughts?

Northwestern was supposed to be an easy win.

Baby steps here. Lets get Nebraska to 5 wins in a season before we start talking about 5-1 starts after losing to Northwestern.

It would shock me none if Nebraska beats OU. OU has a bunch of new starters and it’s away. Of course if this happens then it’s a wake up call for OU and they run roughshod over the B12 en route to a playoff berth.

At this point, that's hard for me to grasp, however, if he did that, then he gets some more time

We have too many new parts moving around, I'm wondering if we can get 11 guys into position at the same time.

They lose to OU. 4-2 if they win all the other games, which they could.

Indy won't be easy though.

I think you all will be fine but there will be some adjustments (just like everyone). Playing Nebby that 3rd game and first on the road, I could see a slip up. But you’ll get it together for the conference.

Nebraska beats North Dakota + Oklahoma

thats it

They just lost to NW and you think they can beat OU?

I know OU is starting over after losing Riley but OU isn't that bad.

Indiana at home theoretically should be a win for corn. I know their QB transferred and I’m not sure what else they bring back but they only won two games last year and most of their losses weren’t close. But with current Nebraska ya never know.

NW has won their division every other year the last 4 years. It’s their year to be good. Also Nebraska had a double digit lead and made some Bone headed coaching mistakes/calls. There is a large argument to be made to say Nebby lost that game more then NW won it.

Im not sure how OU will be.

The only win in confidently giving Nebraska in the first 6 is North Dakota

Every other team on that list can beat Nebraska

Indiana has a good coach and I'm sure he had a solid recruiting class.

Connor Bazelak transferred in from Missouri after Michael Penix went to Washington and I'm sure Allen is thinking good riddance. And Donaven McCulley moved to WR so I think just getting Bazelak means they will be better since he was better than any other QB they had last season.

Handi thinks ND can beat them.
