Funny. I managed to see a couple of movies at a drive-in but I don't remember what they were.

While Jaws was the first movie I can remember seeing in a theater.

My town had one of the largest cinemas in Texas for a time before the age of multiplexes.

And for most of the summer of 75, there was only one word on its large sign: Jaws.

That sounds like my childhood. Dad did popcorn in a big grocery bag. Had an electric skillet he used. Saw so many movies with family and just us boys. I am sure a drive in theater was where I saw my first but have no clue which one at this age. Cheech and Chong movie? Some B movie with tit's for dad would be my first guess. Second would be Jaws and 3rd CandC. Final answer till I think on it more.

The missus and I were peaking as the Millennium Falcon made it's heroic appearance.

Then the movie suddenly ended and we were kicked out into the real world. Granville Mall circa 1977 even more neon, hookers, narcs, flashing lights...
