If you can't find them, get some tight liner socks to wear under the cotton socks. Then, your outer sock runs on the liner and not your skin. Available at hiking boot stores.

I went to college with her and she would fly in to NYC and visit with me and my wife and half the time when we asked her why she was there it was just to buy those Nikes in specific designs and colours.

I only have black mid-calf socks. I bought all Gold Toe brand nylon/rayon/spandex. That way I don't have to match and sort them. Just grab two socks and I'm good.
