What was the #1 Song the day you got your Drivers License

I don't even remember what year that was, much less what song was playing.

What, like a Farm License or something
Heck no. Da real thing.
No that was the law in Louisiana back then. 15years old. Didn't need anything else...go take a written test then a driving test. Parallel park at the end and Boom! They took your picture and then handed you your license. Everyone went on their birthday....it was a custom.
Got my license in a town about 15 miles north of where we living at the time, a town called Kinder. He asked my dad how long I have been driving and dad said about 3 years. The man shook is head and said take the eye test. Then took the picture and we left with my DL.
Really small towns were great back then.

I'm going to say you graduated in May. When you were getting out of HS, I was just finishing my Freshman year.

Sr 73. We had about 180. Our grad night was about the 3rd week in May. We had 3 classmates that made it to May, but lost them before they could graduate.

Got my license in the midst of the disco era.....:

Excited Ric Flair GIF

I dated a girl in HS that ran into a telephone pole during Driver's Ed class. Happened right outside the school....during school! She was so traumatized by this accident that she refused to ever drive again. For many many years this was the case. She eventually had to learn to drive after having kids....

I think half the people on the road are scared to death of driving.
It's the only thing that explains so much
