We always bought Milwaukee’s Best Light and called it the “Beast” and occasionally we would get Natural Light if they were out but it always felt fancy or pretentious. I couldn’t even take a guess how many gallons of it we drank between high school and college.

Something like Miller Light was considered showing off and you got made fun of.

Those days it was Budweiser, Michelob, Lowenbrau and Schlitz through high school and college. I got into much better beers later.
 
I feel like we did mostly Busch Light. Remember doing Natty Light sometimes too.

Meister Brau. We had a keg shell and you could get it filled (technically traded, but you got a credit for giving them an empty keg) for $20.
 
Always preferred liquor to beer. When I did drink beer, it was Budweiser most of the time. The cheap liquor choices were Canadian Mist and Mr Boston

Damn. Natural Light was our go-to. Bud Light was what was considered “fancy”, because it cost $11 more per keg or something, and was occasional. Cans of Beast, Red Dog and Icehouse were rare, but happened too.

When I look back on that time, I can’t for the life figure out how I ever got drunk off that stuff.
 
Busch lite, natty lite, beast, or keystone. Whichever was on sale/cheapest

Cause you weren't just drinking it. You were chugging/shotgunning it or a beer bong. Doing a power hour or century club.
 
Southpaw, Stroh's, Milwaukee's Best (Beast) Ice. Rolling Rock when I was feeling high maintenance, until Yuengling was available.

What was it called when you’d get called up the next day and asked to come over to drink the remaining 20% in the keg?

Mostly I just remember having to piss a lot when I’d drink that stuff on a partying night. Drink a ton of it, as long as it wasn’t too fast, and maybe I’d get sick. But a light buzz was typically the best I could hope for.
