Simply put. Have you ever grown an epic beard?

I could, but it gets annoying.

1/16th of an inch, or approx 1.5 mm.

The longest I've ever went without trimming (I rarely shave with a blade) is one month. It was probably an inch long.

I did it for the no shave November thingy a few years ago. I hated it. But I've kept a fairly long goatee since I was a sophomore in high school.

I trimmed 8-10" off my beard about a month ago and just it down to stubble last week. It reached below my nipples. It was probably 12-14" long at its peak. I am starting another one and hopefully I won't have to wear PPE to enter a LTC facility to move a family member this year.

When I shave/trim it I always regret it but I never have the courage to just let it grow. Stuck in a weird middle spot.

this past year, i let mine grow from September 2019 to September 2020, I wanted to be able to say that i went without shaving/trimming for a full year at some point in my life, lol. Thing is, I grow a full beard, and it gets relatively long, but it's very curly, so it'll get to a point where, instead of continuing to grow "outward" or "down", it'll just continue to bush up more and more. Towards the end of that year-long run, I could grab a single hair around my chin/neck area and pull it out straight, and I think I'd measured it once at a good 9-10 inches, somewhere around there. Of course, I kept the stache somewhat trimmed, can't stand when the 'stache gets super-bushy and gets in your mouth as you try to eat.

My normal look is to keep a well-trimmed stache (never extend beyond corners of mouth, trim it down about once a week or so, so it's always nice and neat, tapered in appearance) and well-trimmed soul patch (the eddie murphy look, except I'm white).

My beard doesn't fill in well, but when I don't feel like giving a shit, I grow it out and look homeless.

Normally just keep a rough looking goatee.

Ive always been goatee guy. I feel like I’m past my initial anxiety and will let it just go for awhile. I’ll let a barber keep it clean but otherwise I think I’m finally going to go for it. When this phase ends I’ll go back to the biker goatee w a real short mustache.

Oh. You were being serious when you put the Chargers as one of your favorite teams?

Ya. My kid was on the Chargers for flag football and I coach so I always buy a seasonal hat to support the team.
