Lil' Kobe's middle school has a pool. Pretty sure the high school doesn't though. Although I haven't spent a ton of time in the high school yet.i had pool at my Middle school
not sure if my high school did or not
I dabbled with devils brew and lettuce.Did you do a lot of drugs in high school?
in Middle School during lunch hour there was also an "activity" period where you could sign up for various items that were't for credit,Lil' Kobe's middle school has a pool. Pretty sure the high school doesn't though. Although I haven't spent a ton of time in the high school yet.
probably for the best. my HS had a pool and half the school year that's where we had gym class.I went there, I just don't recall if it had a pool
I'm pretty sure it didn't, I think swim team used the pool that the old high school which was turned in a junior high school after the new high school (where I went) was built
That is indeed some gruesome shit.A Minnesota HS cancelled their football season because a senior player sodomized a gay kid with a broomstick while a couple other players held the gay kid down and other players witnessed it and did nothing. Then they shared the video of it over Snapchat.
Mr. Kobe's best friend's kid goes to HS there. She wasn't involved, but ended up unwittingly seeing the video.
That's some fucked up shit.
yes, i hated having swimming in gym class during middle schoolprobably for the best. my HS had a pool and half the school year that's where we had gym class.
well I'm guessing spread via snap chat and fellow teammates not reporting it factored into itThat is indeed some gruesome shit.
But I have to ask….cancel the whole season instead of just kicking out and expelling those responsible?
That feels grossly unfair to all players that were not involved. Unless, maybe, they couldn’t field a full team once kicking off those involved?
Good point. I didn’t think about that part. That would make it a whole lot more systemic in a way we don’t want kids doing (saying nothing).well I'm guessing spread via snap chat and fellow teammates not reporting it factored into it
Yeah....I'm not exactly sure how many were involved and who all saw the video and didn't report it. Could apply to the entire school if it spread to almost everyone, but you can't cancel school.Good point. I didn’t think about that part. Oh abso-fucking-lutely. I would do the same with any of my kids. I might snatch them half bald in the process too. Maybe. I’m more mature now. LolYeah....I'm not exactly sure how many were involved and who all saw the video and didn't report it. Could apply to the entire school if it spread to almost everyone, but you can't cancel school.
Investigation is on-going, so maybe they reverse course if they find it wasn't as widespread as they thought. But I'll say this....if I found out my kid was involved or even saw the video and didn't say anything, I'd pull them out of everything except for school immediately.
Just a thought, perhaps they are using this as a way to get kids to fess up or name names because the school is having issues with cooperation. This generation has a fascination with not "being a snitch". Loyalty and honor applies covering for someone but they don't apply the same values to standing up for someone? That's bullshitThat is indeed some gruesome shit.

Blame twins and tigers playing game 163 and all the tv ratings it got for the division
Oh I agree. My first thought was this was a handful of players….why are all punished? Also, at the end of the day extracurriculars are a privilege not a right. Kids can still get their education. If they can't handle the privilege they lose it IMO

I only had to have one semester of Gym in high school and, I know this will come as a shock to many, I wasn't exactly athletic or paid attention to the athletic facilities at the school
HS was only 3 years for me, and yes, I think they only required one semester![]()
In all four years?
those who can't do, teach. those who can't teach, teach gym class.I think it was 9th grade, we had strength training for few weeks in gym, we basically hung out in the weight room
I'd just walk around the weight room, I'd occasionally sit on a machine and do a rep or two while the teacher walked by
"three hundred and two"
"three hundred and three"
Gym teacher took teaching gym as serious as I took going to gym class, I believe he gave me a "B" for that part of gym class
Zero tolerance, etc. That is indeed some gruesome shit.
