That is only one aspect of the ridiculous ranking system of the corrupt and scandalous FIFA organization.
Less than three years ago, the USA failed to qualify for WC in a shit federation full of shit teams, and remarkably they are top 10 now because the B-team Americans beat the 3/4 first team Mexicans.
