My favorite sipping tequila comes from Kentucky and it's called bourbon.

Seriously, I drank so much cheap Messican tequila one night in NM 40 years ago I ended up meeting God. He was laughing at me and ever since then I just don't have the taste for it. I'll do a shot every now and then, but even the high end stuff just doesn't do it for me.

This is my current go-to. It’s affordable and pretty good. Maybe not for sipping, but it slams down just fine.
