When is a stadium considered "old"?

I went to a game there back when they had that ugly statue and bright green walls.

It was weird watching an indoor baseball game...
I forgot that it was even enclosed. Never been there but it always looked tacky

I think they cleaned all that up with Jeter became an owner and it looks much better...got rid of the fishtanks and all that crap.

they had a club behind the left field wall that was apparently a little crazy...that's gone too

If you want to party at South Beach go to South Beach. This is supposed to be a ballpark

The Clevelander.

That’s where @SlinkyRedfoot and @MiamiVice used to meet, discreetly.

It's the definition of gauche, lurid and garish.

The opposite of Petco Park and Camden Yards.
I dislike Nationals Stadium because it feels like it has no fucking character. I don't mind that there is a play area for kids or whatever...it's hard to keep a kid watching a ballgame for 9 innings, they need other ways to stimulate them.

but fuck them for not using the landmarks in DC in the skyline...they messed that up.

yep

my dad's fat friend would go there and get lap dances
As an American as it gets right there.

With all the local urban free range chickens that Cuba has to offer.

I don't give a shit what the tourists or the jerk offs in Boston say, I wish they would blow up Fenway Park so I could take a drive down and actually enjoy the game. Fuckin place is a dump and unless you're a skinny midget you will not like the seating arrangements.
It's always been a toilet. Fenway Park in person has got to the biggest "this is it???" location in America.

I'd rather be in the gulag than in Fenway when "Sweet Caroline" is playing.

Burn it with fire.

What's the matter, you don't like sitting in the box seats on the first base line that face out into left field?

Sweet Caroline and the wave. Uggh, makes me want to shoot someone.

I love The K and Arrowhead (both built in the early 70s) but their location sucks. KC needs to build a new sports complex downtown near the Power & Light District and T-Mobile Center.
So, for me, approaching 50 is old for a stadium no matter how much I love them.

hey @Thiefery @outofyourmind @MarkOU @Inquisitor

any chance the $EC tells OU and Tejas to move their game to jerry world?
Hell no.. It's a staple at the cotton bowl.. Jerry World sucks anyways.. nothing beats the environment at the cotton bowl. Plus it's gonna be great seeing it played at 2:30/3:30 in the afternoon.

I definitely see the SEC start a rotation for it's CCG games.. Most likely with either Jerry World or down in Houston.

im glad i did the tour and not shell out 100's for tix.

wrigley is the same way. especially since that bitch guard wouldn't let me sit on their precious brick wall to take a pic after the game.

20 years is the reset button on everything. The PANDEMIC! was 20 years after Y2K. Also why most stadiums don’t make it more than a couple of decades.

You gotta give the people time to forget how bad you fucked then over in the past and rebuild that trust before doing them dry again and reminding them what a piece of shit you are.
