I was in a beer trading group on FB for about two months. The level of snobbery there was through the fucking roof.

I had stopped after the raise. Kind of a rock & hard place on it. They provided more money for the headaches and give flexibility most don't in working from home when the need arises.. It's just going to be how much bullshit is worth it. Turns out my now leaving boss did me a big favor and approved my Fridays off. So basically look around and see and maybe pounce after the new year.

I haven't been on a mountain since breaking my wrist maybe 7 years ago or so.

I have never been on real snow though, just the shit we have in PA in the winter...if I do, I'd go back to skis.

I'm hoping we can take a trip up to NH to visit my brother this winter. We rode Cannon while we were up there, best runs I've been on. Would like to try the Vermont mountains at some point, as well.

I seem to recall they were predicting last year to be a brutal winter. Ohio standards, we didn't really have much of winter

I'd love to try Killington, Stowe and a few others, but I'm just far enough away that I don't think I ever will. If I'm going to travel that far, I'm heading west.

I went to Whiteface in Lake Placid last year, which I enjoyed, but it was a nine hour drive. That was a pain in the ass.

There's a place in NY called Holiday Valley that's about 3 hours from me. I'll do that, otherwise, I'm heading to CO.
