I at times pay an extra two dollars a 12 pack to avoid driving an extra 2 miles to cheaper liquor store

this is the way. the beer world doesn't have to be at odds over this. there's a role for every kind of beer in life. i love me some fancy ass beers, and i greatly enjoy tasting all the different releases of the boujee ones. but there's a time and a place for those, just as there's a time and a place for smashing the cheap stuff

I didn't growing up, but it probably saved me from a concussion last winter. Plus it keeps me warmer than just a hat and allows me to wear ear buds without being afraid of losing them.

Yeah, Cannon is about a six hour drive, which is pretty close to my limit. It's also nice to get visiting in with family. I could probably swing a day or two in VT with a trip up to NH, but that ish gets expensive. We are probably 1 year away from being able to get Coal on some skis for the first time. Can't wait until we can all be out there together.

Thought of you when I spotted a single bottle of Surly Darkness on the shelf at the liquor store the other day. Didn't buy it though....fuck paying $25 for 750ml bottle of stout that I'm sure I wouldn't like. Fuck stouts.
 
I'm finally gracing @PnkPanther with my presence tomorrow for lunch. First restaurant I'll have sat in since March.

Thinking of cancelling last minute so he can keep complaining that I never follow through.
