Where yinz eat ?

Philly >>> pittsburgh
I got your back, sorta..... I like Philly. I've only spent a couple hours at a time in Pittsburgh, though, so no real benchmark for comparison.

But(t) fuck Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh food? Never heard of it....

Right? I thought that they were even especially soggy, worse than if they'd been delivered even though I was sitting right there in the place!

Similarly it took me a little while to realize that the way to get hash browns that aren't mostly just a pile of raw potatoes on the weekend in NYC is to specifically ask for them well done
Had to change my rating on this post to 100.

While the food, everywhere we went, was basically trash, the people were generally cool. We went to get some perogies on Polish hill, I think someone called it, and they were what I could easily make at home, with a child helping me. However, the woman was sweet as could be, and she told me she was still not over the Knights taking Fleury away from them. There was certainly some areas that were rough, but didn't have a single negative interaction.

I did also meet a very nice man when we went fishing. He was walking down the road toward us, for about a 1/4 mile. I heard him talking, and assumed he was on a cell phone call or something. He kept talking, like in a normal tone, but wasnt close enough for quite a while.

When he got to where I could hear him, he asked if we needed help, and I instantly knew he was not on a previous phone call either. I got a decent look at him and could tell he wasn't "right". Which I had no problem with, except for my cousins gf had told us, "dont be surprised if you see some "hills have eyes" type shit out here somewhere."

Funny part was though, when he saw the girls, he wanted to look nice and tidy, so he pulled up his sweat pants up, nice and high up over his dickiedoo, and there was a perfect little 4" wet piss stain on them. It was getting dark, and we were ready to leave anyway, so I told the wife that I thought I heard banjos playing, and wanted to go and check it out.

The weather was perfect, the land itself was beautiful, the rental car was fast and I ran over a tank of gas through it from Friday night, to today, and the people were pretty cool. Food was a major fail in general, out in Washington, and throughout Pittsburgh.

All this to say, everyone has an opinion about Vegas, and likes to tell me about it, so When I visit your cities, I'm gonna tell you about.

Hey Peter, you make it home ?

How was the flight in regards to masks/covid shit? Did the environment seem clean?
The masks are on at all times. This is first time that I really got irritated with it. Trying to rest, or sleep, with one on, was fucked. Everything was clean in most airports.

Welcome back to civilization.
There was a Mexican restaurant out there, and I drove over to take a look at it when the wife was at the hotel getting ready for the party. I walked in, and it looked ok, but it did not smell right. Not in a bad way, like sour or dirty, but like, a lean cuisine enchilada or some shit. I just thought I had better not go through the disappointment and left. Ate a Don Tortaco chicken chimichanga as soon as we got home.

You still been home bound, or you bouncing around now again? I know they have high demands on you at the 7-11.

still not bouncing around but got the vaccine on Monday. I think they say two weeks to take effect so I’m hoping after that to loosen up a bit.
