Which Bowl Games Have You Attended?

Fiesta Bowl - 4 times
2006 Natty Florida vs tOSU, 2010 Natty Auburn vs Oregon, 2015 ND vs tOSU, 2019 Clemson vs tOSU

2011 The one played at DBacks stadium; I think it used to be called the Insight Bowl?
Iowa vs Oklahoma

2014 CFBP Natty in Dallas
Oregon vs tOSU

I've been to 44 Total Bowl Games which is tied with Arkansas for 17th place all-time!

First: 1976 Liberty: Alabama 36 UCLA 6
Last: 2021 Cotton: Alabama 27 Cincinnati 6

I've been to the Four Traditional NYD Games: 5 Cotton, 4 Sugar, 4 Orange and 1 Rose.

Of the others, I have been to the 5 Gator, 5 Liberty, 3 Tangerine, 3 Citrus, 2 Hall of Fame Bowls @ Tampa, 2 Music City, 2 Camellia, 1 Fiesta, 1 Chick-fil-A (Peach), 1 Sun, 1 Hall of Fame Classic @ Legion Field, 1 BBVA Compass @ Legion Field, 1 Independence, 1 Motor City and 1 BCS Championship @ Miami Gardens
Which Fiesta were you at?

Just curious. I have been to about 40 games, lots of different teams, quite a few different stadiums. However, never been to a bowl game. Which bowl games have you been to?
For all the games I've ever attended, none of them have been bowls. Every year for the past decade I've been telling myself I'm going to see a Pinstripe Bowl over in Yankees stadium, but I never do.

I’ve seen quite a few, but of the really big ones, I’ve only been to Fiesta and Rose Bowls.

I do try to hit the national championship games in Phoenix (we’ve had several) because now that I live in the area, they’re right in my backyard. I’ve also been to multiple regular Fiesta Bowl non-championship games including obviously Boise’s three wins there.

Would be awesome to see some big ones away from the west coast, just hasn’t happened for me yet.

- Sugar Bowl multiple times starting back in the 70s
- Orange Bowl multiple times
- Peach Bowl multiple times
- Gator Bowl
- Belk Bown - now the Mayo Bowl
- 2 NCs - Indy and LA
- a couple of other I am not thinking about

Did Georgia play in the Orange or were you there to see other teams?

I keep wanting Auburn to play in the Orange because that would complete the Big 4 from my childhood of Sugar, Cotton, Orange and Rose. If Auburn plays in that one I'm there if for no other reason than to check the box.

Sadly, only the Bong Bowl.

Happily, a buhjillion times. Grand Marshal and shit:

Only two bowl games

Went to LA to see UGA blow out TCU for a natty

Also saw Johnny Manziel’s last college start. Forget the name of the bowl, but it was against Duke in the Georgia Dome, and it was a very good game. Manziel lead a pretty big second half comeback to get the win
I have watched this one on youtube quite a few times. Yeah, that was some comeback.

I grew up in West Palm, so we went down a lot. I was there for the crazy Arkansas v. Oklahoma game in the late 70s when Holtz's team beat Switzer's team.

I almost went when we played UM, and then last year when we played FSU. I have a ton of FSU friends, but they didn't go so I didn't go.

Too lazy to count them all.

Argh! I never have understood the Pac disdain for the fabulous Sun Bowl. Sheesh, Alabama is a perfect 3-0 there, and you went to all three games! 1983 vs. SMU, 1986 vs. Washington and 1988 vs. Army. Good enough for the All-Time Bowl King, so what is not to love! If Alabama or Iowa State ever go again, I would try to make the trip. :)
And from what I've been told, the Sun Bowl hospitality is second to none. Have to fight the perception about El Paso. @wazzu31 hated it when his Cougars were there. That's the mindset of all the West Coasters. In contrast, the B1G schools that have attended seemed to really enjoy it. Two of my friends were Wisky and Sparty grads. I hung out with both sets of their fans when they played in Sun Bowl and they loved it.

Aloha, Hawaii, Seattle and Rose

Independence Bowl 1976 and 1979 and 1980

Outback Gator bowl at Raymond James stadium.. Florida vs Iowa. I think that was Urbans Myers first year..Jan 1 ... Went to the Citrus bowl one year when I was a kid.. I know Florida played but I can not for the life of me remember who we played.

That is 100% why Alabama went back in 1986 and 1988, as they really loved the hospitality in 1983!

I wanna go to a bowl game. The Duke's Mayo Bowl is about 3 hours from me. My wife's sister and bro-in-law live near Conway, SC. Could hit the Myrtle Beach bowl even though these teams are pretty lackluster. My wife's parents live about an hour north of Charleston, SC. I could hit up the Gator Bowl, but that is a lot of damn driving.
