Which MLB team is most likely to move and to where?

I know it's a shithole, but if a team is gonna move to Tennessee, I think it should be Memphis. Close to the Little Rock market too and Oxford, MS is basically just southern Memphis.
No, that's Cardinal country.

A's to Portland
Rays to Montreal
Marlins to Havana
This never makes sense to me. Montreal lost the Expos (Nats) because of lack of support, why would it be different with the Rays?
Not saying they wouldn't move, but why Montreal?

I think the Rays are a new stadium in a better location away from being viable in Tampa. They have strong tv ratings, but they play in a turd of a stadium in a hard to get to location. Get on the Tampa side of the bay and they would be fine IMO.

The Marlins are the team in Florida that really needs to relocate. I don’t think they’ll ever be supported, the fans they did have have been burned too many times.
This. The majority of the fanbase is on the Tampa side of the Bay. The Lightning had the same issue when they played at the Trop. Now Amalie (downtown) is sold out every game.

They are basically being held hostage by St. Pete at this point. by 2026, they will either have a new stadium, probably around Ybor City, or move.

The Marlins have a great stadium, but Miami fans of all sports are just too fickle.

Any team moving to Nashville had best change their name to Sound
There's already a AAA team there called the Nashville Sounds.

It wasn’t as drastic as the Rays situation, but the Braves used to be on the south side of Atlanta in a bad neighborhood, they’ve seen a big uptick in attendance since they moved closer to where most of the fanbase was located in the northern suburbs

Yeah, have been to the old Fulton County Stadium, and Turner Field, shitty area, but at least it wasn't too bad to get to.

Tropicana is a pain in the ass to get to even when it's not rush hour. It takes the triple crown, shitty stadium, shitty area, shitty to get to.

Both of those stadiums were much easier to get to than Truist Park & had LOTS more parking options, but Truist Park is so incredibly nice & in such a better area that the travel convenience is something I'm fine sacrificing. Don't feel like you need to be armed heavy when leaving there after a night game. Can walk a mile & feel fairly safe. At those other 2 places, you might as well have been walking in Somalia.

Truist Park is infinitely easier to get to than Turner Field. Hop on 575, ride that bitch until it runs into 75 and get off where 75 and 285 come together and you’re there. Traffic is headed north while I’m headed south at game time too. Any Georgia native that doesn’t live below Atlanta will tell you the same thing. You’d be lucky to get to Turner Field in an hour and a half. I can make it to Truist Park in under an hour and that’s just because I live so far north of the park(about equal distance from Atlanta and to the NC/TN state lines, I can be in Murphy, NC or Copper Hill, TN in about the same time I can be in Atlanta, less if you consider traffic)

As a TN native, I have to ask, you could go there

Not all of us travel from the north.
