If Texas makes a splash soon, I’ll say Coach Hitch ‘Em Up. Which would probably be a mistake IMHO. From what I understand, he “can’t relate” to the “new age” players.

What are the others doing now?

Out of the group, I think Gary Patterson is the best coach but I think he is about done.

I went with Dan Mullen because it is still a head scratcher with what happened at Florida. I thought that was the perfect hire and setup.

I don’t get what happened at UF either, I figured they had their guy for the next 6-8 years at least with a lot of success coming with but…:headscratch:

I may go ahead and call it now, IF Frost flops and NU fires him then I say they call Mullen.

Patterson is at Texas

Herman is with the Bears (NFL)

Rumor has it that Mickey Joseph's in line for that job.

Which ever one texas hires after next season.

Not unless he figures out how to recruit. That was his problem. Plus he is a weirdo and his wife kisses all the players as they come off the bus.

Well, Patterson is already there, so, ...........

HCIW?
TBH that’s what I thought when they hired him BUT, the Manning commitment may lock Sark in for at least two more years. Gotta figure Manning went there because of Sark so if he gets canned they may lose Manning too and they definitely want him and that name as they enter the SEC.

Meh I dunno that I buy all that stuff about him not being able to recruit TBH, develop maybe, Florida had top 10/15 classes til the program went into a tailspin.
I think his loyalty to coaches who were not cutting it hurt him more than anything.

Granted Florida should be in the top.. 5-10 every year in recruiting so that IS a knock I suppose but they should have been a lot better than they were with that kind of talent coming in.

Top 10/15 doesn't keep you employed at UF or UTjr. You better be top 5. In 2010 UF was no. 1, I assume during Meyers years they were top 5. They have to get back to that.
