I joined FN in 2004, so we've been potentially been posting together for seventeen years. What were you, fourteen when you started?

You've changed a shitload. I remember back then I considered you among the biggest homers on FN. Now I don't consider you a homer at all.

I know I've changed too. Back then, if I thought someone posted something stupid about baseball, I'd think nothing of spending hours researching, putting together spreadsheets and posting stats to prove how stupid the post was. Particularly if they dug in and doubled-down on stupid.

These days, I rarely have the time or inclination to do any of that. Now I typically ignore stupid shit, or Occam's Razor my contention down to "you're a fucking idiot." lolz

I was 15 because I joined when I was recovering from ACL surgery. I thought I knew more than I know now back then

That's messed up, and another reason why I don't take boards so seriously anymore. You never know who's thisclose to coming unglued. Nowadays I just wanna get in a couple of decent one-liners when work is slow, but only with posters that I know can take it.
