I was fucking annoyed as hell early in the game and got....less annoyed as the game went on. Surprisingly.
Heres the thing that stood out after being forced to listen to him for three hours.....he’s got insight on the game, especially the WR/CB game that’s insightful and interesting.
Here’s what’s wrong....his speaking is pretty bad. I don’t have an issue with a commentator that has some Ebonics to him. I can hang. It’s not about that. He’s just EXTREMELY green as a commentator and probably should not been put in a booth so quickly.
His play by play guy was extremely gracious and gave him as much training wheels as someone can. But there was a time of two he called on Talib for some off the cuff insight and there was a deer staring at the headlights....wearing a green plaid suit.
