That'd be a monster leap for Denver, and whoever gets it would be under the gun probably immediately. They've never paid a coach more than $7m a year, but that might be why they've gone through like 4 of them since Shanahan left.

Michigan lost the TCU game because they didn’t outscore them. The officials were bad and the replay officials even worse, but they were equally horrible for both teams. Michigan was the better team, but the better teams doesn’t always win. Sometimes the best team wins … see Georgia.

Agree. I saw some poorly officiated games this year but the Michigan/TCU game may have been the worst....without a close second. Maybe that crew's performance was like TCU's performance was in the final.
