Who is in the top 10?

JJ was the only reason we were in that game. The defense choked that game away. In the process of digging out of a hole, he threw picks. And it's unfortunate that two were pick sixes. He also threw the game winning touchdown that the refs blew.

Dude, TCU's first TD was literally a pick 6. And how in the hell did he throw the game winning TD that the refs blew?

A 7 point TD overturned in a 6 point loss, seems pretty important?

Yeah, because if Michigan scores that TD and cuts the deficit to 4, everything plays out the exact same. Lmao. They wouldn't even have taken the lead on that "game winning TD" lmao dude. What a reach.

Michigan wins the game if you give them another TD? A TD that was fumbled away on the next play that shouldn't have happened.

But either way, suggesting a QB who can't throw the ball would have won the game in a game where we couldn't run, is actually stupid. JJ had 343 yard passing with 2 TD's, but more importantly he also had 52 yard rushing and another rushing TD. Cade couldn't, and never did, anything like it.

Everybody puts up numbers on this TCU defense(except Ewers lol). Hell they made Bennett look like the #1 overall pick. Shit, Kansas' backup QB put up 262 and 4 TD's in just 3 quarters against them.

the Wilson overturn was dumb, but it would have been moot if Michigan called a better play than an FB dive to a fucking linebacker. and as @ericd7633 said, it's a stretch to say that would have been the "game winning" touchdown.

Michigan lost the TCU game because they didn’t outscore them. The officials were bad and the replay officials even worse, but they were equally horrible for both teams. Michigan was the better team, but the better teams doesn’t always win. Sometimes the best team wins … see Georgia.

yeah, I don't blame the refs. Michigan shot themselves in the feet with playcalling (especially in the first half), between the red zone play calls and how they called the running game (McCarthy's legs were nonexistent until the 2nd half and Michigan never really tried to test the edges or rush outside). Michigan's pass rush was also a non-factor and they got aggressive in the 2nd half instead of playing a safer defense they played all year and TCU burned them (see the 3rd and 7, other blitzes).

2-4 is weird. I feel like Ohio State should definitely be above TCU based on what we saw last night, but you can't put michigan ahead of TCU and probably can't put OSU ahead of michigan.

Yeah, even though the Frogs farted and fell down in the 'ship, they get default #2 by making it that far. After that, it's gotta be Michigan 3, Ohio St 4 based on head to head.

Keep in mind, TCU's offense did OK but they only scored 37 points. Michigan outscored them on offense, and should have had another TD. So Michigan should have had 52 points. Unless TCU was counting on a 3rd pick 6, I think Michigan would have won that game had the call not been reversed. The game was 14-3 at that point. That changes it to a 14-10 game. And is 21-13 at halftime. Michigan scored 39 points in a single half.

Yeah, I know TCU only scored 37 on offense. But that was because of McCarthy's two awful pick 6's. Which brings it back full circle to my original point, McCarthy cost them the game.

Final AP Poll by Conference:

ACC:
1. Florida State (11th nationally)
2. Clemson (13th nationally)
Imagine having worst loses, best win is #17 and loses the H2H at home 😂

First off, that is a lot of points. Over their final 6 games, they only hit over 30 points overall one other time and that was against 4-8 Iowa State.

Secondly, you're assuming that if they didn't take those two INTs to the house, they wouldn't have scored any points on the ensuing drives, which seems ignorant considering their offense put up 488 yards and 37 points in addition to the 70 INT return yards.

Your point was a bad one. We probably don’t score points beyond field goals if Cade is the QB.

37 points is just ok on offense?

TCU got conservative with a lead. When they needed to start scoring again, they did

It's not like he was making big time throws. But his two INT's were the difference maker.

Yeah, its probably the way it should be, but if you were to do a power ranking, I'd definitely have TCU 4th. 2-7 there isn't too much separation.

Alabama fans think they should be #2.
