I had "Clam chowder" up there but was afraid it'd win.only 1 potato option???
Fixed! Its missing the Aaron Hernandez option.
Nah. Yaz was a great for sure, but no WS rings hurts his standing in this poll. He polls 4th on my list. He never did connect with the New England sports fans off the field in any way either.Yaz.
He was good before Curt Flood ruined sports.

He banged my mom so of course I love BirdNah. Yaz was a great for sure, but no WS rings hurts his standing in this poll. He polls 4th on my list. He never did connect with the New England sports fans off the field in any way either.
For me personally, Bobby Orr is the one guy I'd love to meet. He was the man when I was coming of age in sports and he was so much better than his contemporaries that it is ridiculous. It doesn't hurt that I was a hockey crazed youngster I suppose.
Brady has to be #2 for me because 6 SB rings is the shit. I certainly can't blame anyone that puts him at #1.
Bird is #3 on my list. 2 rings and highlight reels filled with clutch shot after clutch shot, some of which are outrageous. Bird never made an attempt to connect with the Boston sports fans either, but his bravado (some would say braggadocio) made him so fun to watch and considering he was a big storky looking dude, the antithesis of Brady, I believe lot of fans identify with him.
More specific?Probably some staunchly pro segregationist Red Sox player from the 50's.

Gotta love listening to southerners bitching about racism in the North East considering that the south would still be proudly beating their slaves if it wasn't for the decent folks in the NEUm..they like to be called sharecroppers now
there were slaves everywhereGotta love listening to southerners bitching about racism in the North East considering that the south would still be proudly beating their slaves if it wasn't for the decent folks in the NE![]()
Yes, and there were plenty of black slave owners. The fact remains that there would still be slaves in the south if not for the abolitionists in the northern tier....... and the Union Army.there were slaves everywhere
